When I saw "Joseph and the Amazing Technocolor Dreamcoat" last winter I was amazed. So many people enjoyed the show, and the cast seemed to have a great and fun time performing! I think then was when I realized I had to be involved in theater for the rest if my life. To be able to work at something I loved to do, that made people happy and able to enjoy themselves, that is what I wanted to do! I recently saw "Beauty and the Beast" in Chicago, over winter break. It was a great show and I had a blast. I would love to be able to see "The Lion King" soon, one of my best friends just saw it on Broadway and said it was wonderful!! I can't wait to see it! I hope to one day be able to perform at Walt Disney World as part of the "Cast Members". I have had this dream for a long time, probably ever since I started going to Disney as a young girl! I would love to perform any part, but if I had the chance to do "Belle" that would be so wonderful! I love that movie and her character, to be able to perform it would be amazing! Right now I am at a point in my life that I do not know if I want to continue with theater as a serious thing or not, but I have a while until I have to make a decision. I am enjoying my theater class now and trying to have fun and not be too serious. I will make a decision soon as to whether or not I want to continue with theater seriously, but I know it will always be in my life!!

I have also been student director the past 3 summers in the summer theater program my high school offers for younger children, grades 5-8th. I will be going back this summer and student directing the plays! I also want to be able to go back in the fall and work with the theater program somehow! Doing theater in hs was a lot of fun, although it could of been a lot better if we had done more popular shows!! It gave me a chance to express myself and have fun! I grew to love and appreciate all the work that goes into a performance! I have done everything in my hs theater...I started out as working props when I was a freshie, to having the lead when I was a senior. I have done lights, sound, props, and set work!! Everything is so much fun because it is all a part of the show, and when finished, makes a wonderful show!!
